Goal
To obtain theoretical and practical formation on the principles, components, methodology and topics that help in the organization, process and development of ministry with Hispanic teens.
This course is offered for people at least twenty-five years old who wish to accompany, advise and guide parish groups, leaders and teens. The course focuses on the personal growth and faith process of teens. It contains a series of topics that offer theory, experiences and recommendations to be implemented according to the reality of the parish or organization. The topics are based on the teachings and pastoral guidance of the Church, following Jesus as a model.
Objectives
• To become familiar with the psychological, social and pastoral reality of Hispanic teens.
• To learn about the theological and organizational principles of ministry with Hispanic teens.
• To discover the vocation of being co-responsible and committed advisers willing to listen, guide, advise and accompany teens.
• To recognize the importance and fulfill the responsibilities that come with ministry with Hispanic teens, as well as to collaborate with parish leaders by promoting pastoral de conjunto (co-responsible collaboration and coordination).
• To acquire the fundamental knowledge and lay the foundations to implement a ministry with Hispanic teens in parishes.
