The National Catholic Leadership Program is an opportunity for university-level formation and practical training for parish and diocesan leaders in Pastoral Juvenil (Hispanic Youth and Young Adult Ministry), Hispanic Ministry and Family Ministry. Its diverse programs are led by experts, who, through prayer, presentations, community processes and personal reflections, help participants live out the theme of the program in their lives and pastoral action.

Symposium on Leadership for a Comprehensive Pastoral Juvenil
Goal: To live an intense experience of Pastoral Juvenil based on the Prophets of Hope Model, which offers vision, direction, and processes for ministry with young people.
Pastoral Accompaniment and help to address crises of today’s young people
Goal: Acquire a solid and integral formation on pastoral accompaniment and to explore approaches and actions to help young people overcome crises they face in their current lives.
Ministry with Latino Adolescents and Peer Counseling among Jóvenes
Goal: To take two complementary seminars that provide leaders with training and techniques for ministry with Latino adolescents and for peer counseling in pastoral juvenil. They are not counseling sessions for the participants
Spirituality, Life Project, and Self-empowerment
Goal: To grow in spiritual life and learn how to discern spiritually, vocationally, and morally as the foundation for one’s life project, according to the personal vocation and reality of life.
Intercultural Relations and Skills for Personal, Pastoral and Civic Life
Goal: Reflect on the pluricultural reality in the Church and society, discover strategies for pastoral action in this context, and heal internal oppressions from discrimination, racism and classism.
Ecological Balance and Social Justice: Vital Urgencies
Goal: Understand and value our eco-social responsibility towards the planet among the most urgent social justice issues, with a view to collaborating in the transformation of our culture and society.
Training of Trainers for the Foundational Course in Pastoral Juvenil
Goal: Gain knowledge and skills to facilitate the Foundational Course in Pastoral Juvenil and be able to offer it under license from Fe y Vida granted to a diocese or parish.
The Living Word of God Here and Now
Goal: To obtain theoretical and practical trainings that help young people and adults to incarnate God’s Word in their life and pastoral practice, supported by biblical-pastoral resources created by Fe y Vida.
Formation for a Christian Living of Sexuality centered on parents and couples planning to get married
Goal: To acquire a comprehensive vision and practical tools for a Christian education in sexuality, particularly during adolescence, and learn how to conduct reflection groups on this topic.
Engaging Stories – High School Summer Theology Journey
Goal: As high school juniors and seniors, 16 – 18 years old, live a week-long JOURNEY of faith, life, and social action with your peers, with university professors and leaders, to fortify one’s spirituality, make friends, and be trained as leaders.
