Goal
Train participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to use the “program” to guide parents in their communities, in the mission of educating their children in values and leadership attitudes, strengthening their children, in a spirituality. and character that helps them face today’s world.
This course offers the opportunity to form leaders whose mission is to strengthen families and train parents as the first evangelizers of the home according to God’s plan. A special emphasis will be placed on the “Herencia” (Heritage) program, which seeks to train participants with the necessary knowledge to guide parents in an education in love, responsibly and attentive to the teachings of our Church.
Objectives
• To offer participants specific content from the HERENCIA program to educate today’s children based on the theories of modern psychology so that they can replicate these models in their parish communities.
• To develop educational activities and materials that facilitate the process of involvement and participation of families in learning processes and behavioral changes, according to their social and cultural realities.
• To raise awareness among leaders who receive this training about the need to educate themselves on the evangelical, biblical and doctrinal principles and values that can guide families and parents in the formation of their children.
• To reflect on the challenges that families face today regarding the high rate of divorce, depression and suicide attempts among teens, the loss of values and respect in modern young people, drugs, gangs and the different manifestations of sexuality.
Requirements
• Participants must be adults at least 25 years of age.
• Preferably parents. Priests, Religious.
• Persons interested in implementing the School for Parents in their parishes or Catholic schools.
